What does Turathe mean?
“Turathe” means “my heritage”—the stories, symbols, and traditions passed down through generations.
What does our logo represent?
Our logo is inspired by the Phoenix, a timeless symbol of renewal and continuity.
Many of the symbols that inspire our jewelry are centuries old. Just as the Phoenix rises again, we reimagine these heritage motifs as contemporary jewelry designed for today.
At Turathe, we believe heritage is meant to be lived, worn, and passed on to future generations.
Meet the Founder
Marhaba, I'm Batoul Perro
Founder of Turathe.
Growing up in a Palestinian family, I developed a deep appreciation for Palestinian tatreez. From a young age, I learned the art of embroidery at school and fell in love with wearing embroidered clothing.
Over time, my passion for jewelry design and my love for contemporary fashion inspired me to reimagine traditional Palestinian motifs as modern jewelry. Through Turathe, I hope to preserve this beautiful art and share it with the world through timeless designs made to be worn every day.
